IT anxiety

Have your say

Stuart Smith (Letters, 23 August) is bang on in expressing anxiety about the problems of putting in place the systems necessary to run an independent Scotland. Indeed, I recently asked one of the country’s most experienced IT project managers if it was at all possible to set up the necessary systems within the Scottish government’s “budget” figure of £200 million (£40 per population head) and within its 18-month time-scale. The
response was a burst of laughter!
