Illusion busters

Have your say

I enjoyed reading Tom Peterkin’s piece, “Labour left reeling from recent departures” (6 November).

He might also have added that Allan Grogan, founder of Labour For Independence, has also left to join the Scottish Socialist Party, along with thousands of others.

It surely cannot be stressed often enough, as Allan himself has said, if you are a socialist you should be in a socialist party, not building illusions in others that they will somehow represent the interests of working people in the face of corporate interests, government austerity or the biggest fall in living standards in 80 years.
