Hard left?

Have your say

I have been somewhat
irritated in recent months by Bill Jamieson’s frequent references to Jeremy Corbyn and his supporters as being of the hard Left.

However, I must acknowledge that in his article, “Corbynomics fuelled not just by Left” (Perspective, 20 August), he gives a fair assessment of the reasons why moderate Labour Party members and very possibly voters in general would seriously consider voting for Corbyn.

I could not but notice that in his final reference to “the hard Left” he, at long last, used inverted commas. Well said, Bill Jamieson!
