Cycling safely

Have your say

Will Road Share, so keen to make motorists strictly liable for accidents involving bikes, also support a) compulsory insurance for adult cyclists and b) far stiffer penalties for those adult cyclists using pavements instead of the road as happens on a daily basis on Lower Granton Road between Granton Square and McKelvie Parade, and from the “new” Junction to Pier Place, endangering pedestrians, infants in buggies and dogs being walked?

As some cyclists seem to believe they are invulnerable, will they also support banning the use of headphones by cyclists
for their own protection, and compulsory alert devices (formerly known as bells) so that pedestrians using walkways can be made aware that a virtually silent machine is sneaking up behind them?
