Deputy First Minister Nicola Sturgeon unveiled the draft Scottish Independence Bill yesterday with Scots being urged to seize the “historic opportunity” to help shape the new country.

Among the pages of the Bill, it proposes an obligation to advance towards nuclear disarmament.

Meanwhile, new research revealed that more Scots believe Trident nuclear missiles should stay in Scotland if it becomes independent than think the weapons should be removed.
