Former US vice-president Dick Cheney claimed that President George W Bush was not kept in the dark about CIA methods of interrogation used on terror suspects.
The 500-page Senate report claimed that the Bush administration was misled and no proper information was given to the then president.
Cheney called the report “deeply flawed”, and said he strongly defended the methods used by CIA, including waterboarding and rectal hydration, to interrogate the 9/11 suspects.
