The Church of Scotland has made a plea for the Scottish independence referendum debate to focus on “integrity and community – not just cash and constitutions”

The Church held 32 events around the country getting feedback from 900 people to create a report called ‘Imagining Scotland’s Future’. The report called for a debate that focuses on social justice rather than individualistic personal gains.

The report also found congregations across Scotland are deeply concerned about fairness, justice and sharing for their communities as a whole.
