The Treasury had become alarmed by the huge subsidies being harvested by wind farm developers so under a new scheme, to be introduced later this year, companies will have to sell their electricity to the national grid under a competitive bidding system.

Developers are already starting to abandon plans for new wind farms in Britain because they are “no longer financially viable” which just proves that they are only in it for the eye- watering subsidies.

If wind turbines are the cheapest I hate to think what others are costing.
