Who to sue
On the subject of taking legal action against corporations for bad practice (your report, 5 April), I was recently talking with a United States lawyer who is successful, very successful.
He said he never sued a company for any client. He always sued the directors because if a company had to pay any fine, the money always came from the shareholders or the taxpayer.
