Wheel dilemma

Please, please can we not have a ridiculous Ferris wheel in Princes Street Gardens. The views of the beautiful city of Edinburgh would be ruined.

Foreign visitors like to look up at the castle and a Ferris wheel would be a very ugly blot on the landscape. The wheel by the Thames looks quite out of place and spoils that view of London.

Having first checked that it wasn’t 1 April, my disbelief was suspended higher than the proposed Ferris wheel.

Not content with giving us a clockwork mouse (aka tram) the big cheeses who have presided over us for too long now wish to foist upon us a big wheel.

Stop it before it gets any worse and Princes Street becomes one great big fairground.
