What a shower!

MORE junk research and taxpayers' money wasted just to find out that using a power shower costs more than taking a bath or any other type of shower (your report, 31 December).

Do these people ever get into the real world? In our house the water heater operates from 6-8am, which gives sufficient hot water for the whole day (including power showers every day). What next, communal bathing? I have a great idea to reduce energy use – stop these stupid researchers publishing claptrap.
