Waste of time

While I understand the need for more runway space to meet growing demand for air travel I think airport authorities could do well to focus on reducing the ridiculous waiting times travellers now face between check-in and actual take-off.

Before travelling I now consider all alternatives before committing to air travel as a last resort as I find it an enormous waste of time.
