Warning shots

The publication of the topless photographs of the Duchess of Cambridge was obviously upsetting to the royal couple and caused distress and anger.

They were entitled to their 
privacy while on holiday, but they were naive in thinking that the paparazzi would not be pursuing them.

The couple will be more careful in future but, as with the Prince Harry episode, are there not more serious security implications that should be looked at? The photographer armed with a camera might well have been a sniper armed with a rifle.
