Wallace letter

There has been much debate around the repatriation of the Wallace "safe conduct" letter. However, "repatriation" is the wrong terminology as the letter is already in the UK.

Wallace was executed for treason, so surely, therefore, anything that was in his possession would have been forfeited and become property of the Crown. Accordingly, the letter should be lodged in the British Museum where many more people will be able to see it.
