Wait of history

As an amateur historian and tour guide, I believe I may have come across an explanation as to the late 14th-century graves unearthed during tram works in Leith.

Going through an ancient archive I have found a “flyer” to the citizens of Edinburgh and Leith asking them to “prithee queue with patience; ye first tram will be along in a minute”. I am happy to clear up this historical mystery.
