Voice of reason

Thank goodness for Stuart Waiton, who argues that a few high-profile cases have given a misleading impression that slavery and sex trafficking are a widespread problem here (Perspective, 4 December).

His incisive articles cut through the mumbo jumbo that passes for public policy and expose the hysteria behind the pressing
issues of the day.

I hope he turns his jaundiced eye to other topics in future, which are talked up by those with a vested interest.’
