Victim’s remains

I WAS moved to tears on reading of how Winnie Johnson hopes to come face to face with Ian Brady, the man who murdered her son, Keith, in the 1960s (your report, 12 December).

It’s bad enough that this poor woman lost her child and had to wait until 1987 for Brady and his accomplice Myra Hindley to be convicted of this brutal killing, but to still have no idea where he is buried is too heartbreaking.

Brady was able to show police where some of the other victims were buried, so there is every chance that he knows where this poor child’s remains are.

When he has his mental health tribunal held in public he should be pressurised in the strongest way to reveal what he knows.
