I would love to see the Black Isle railway brought back although some of it is now a popular walking route.

Or maybe they could run a loop off the Inverness to Kyle/Tain line, to run up to Cromarty and around through Fortrose and back to Inverness.

It is a bit ambitious maybe and it would face opposition. My local station has the highest use per head of population than any other station in the UK and the line to Inverness is better value than the bus service.
