Road cash crisis

Enough has been written about the absurd tram project, but now we are seeing the results of it consuming all the money.

The dilapidated condition of the road surfaces in Edinburgh is a disgrace and a hazard. If the council will not listen to the people’s wishes about scrapping this ludicrous project, perhaps some civil actions against the ringleaders for personal injury claims might focus their minds.

We obviously don’t have any democratic say in the matter, but what’s to stop us suing them personally for negligence next time one of us goes over the handlebars in a pothole?

They made the decisions to divert the money to the trams without any popular mandate and must bear responsibility for any unfortunate accidents that result.
