Resigned to it

Kenny MacAskill did not resign after prematurely releasing Scotland’s worst terrorist (Abdelbaset Ali Mohmed al-Megrahi in 2009), so he is hardly likely to resign over a few dodgy crime figures (your report, 7 October).
