The re-form club

I write as one once criticised for over-use of hyphens in a scientific report. So, are The Libertines  reformed (In Brief, 25 February) or re-formed?

Were it the former, ie, improvement by removal of faults and abuses, then perhaps a benefit accrues for Pete Docherty.

I assume, however, that it is the latter. Just a case of “the band  getting back together” and my hyphen is justified!
