Positive thinking

PSYCHOLOGICALLY, a No campaign in the run-up to referendum vote on independence (your reports) is always going to be difficult irrespective of the lack of leadership and co-operation between the unionist parties. Opponents to independence need to construct and unite around a positive campaign that embraces a “Yes” or we will be in danger of making a permanent decision as a result of a temporary lack of leadership.

In recent decades, there was understandable resentment at the disproportionate influence of Scottish politicians in the UK government. It’s ironic that at a time when Scotland needs great leadership more than any other time in history, we have an extraordinary void!
