Point of view: Soup

YOUR article "Bad weather no excuse for not getting to work" (Opinion, 8 January) reminded me of a manager I once knew who, on learning that one of his staff was snowed in and would not make it to the office, promptly got into his car, drove to her house and delivered a tin of soup.
