Point of view: Freeze

SO at least one academic has nothing better to do than sit in a nice warm office drawing graphs of the relationship between old people dying and ambient temperatures (your report, 9 January). Might I suggest he'd earn his money better by getting a shovel, brush and a bucket of salt and getting out clearing local pavements.
