Make it a double

It is not only Bovril whose inventor has been belatedly recognised (your report, 8 June). The true founder of an iconic Scottish drink has received the recognition he has deserved for more than 90 years: James Ross, of Broadford Inn in Skye, who perfected the secret recipe, coined the slogan "A link with the '45", and began selling it worldwide after devising and trademarking the name invented from the Gaelic, namely Drambuie.
