Letter: Wrong tactic

Donald Trump's development at Balmedie in Aberdeen is being hindered by a small croft holder, Michael Forbes, who, on principle, refuses point-blank to move at any price.

Repeated interviews with Donald Trump have not resolved matters at all, as he continues to insult his neighbour by describing his croft as a slum and accusing him of living like a pig.

How Michael Forbes chooses to lead his life is entirely his affair and his right of choice, and Donald Trump would do better by adopting a professional and conciliatory manner rather than closing the door on any hope of an early settlement.

After all, every man's house is his castle.
