Letter: Trump hunt

ANY beliefs about Donald Trump being a dedicated conservationist bringing fierce convictions to bear against sea-based wind turbines are surely dented by reports about his sons on a hunting rampage in Africa (15 March).

One would reckon that the offspring of a devoted conservationist would have inherited convictions of the kind and the last fun thing they’d want to do would be to shoot leopards, elephants, and wildebeests. Let alone pose for pictures holding parts of the deceased animals.

There were also claims the meat was distributed in local villages. But one conservationist said there were no villages in the area of the Trump hunt.
