Letter: Troubles justice

Before prime ministers' impressive apologies get out of hand, a reminder of IRA crimes against British citizens should be recalled.

Martin McGuinness and company should be brought to court to answer for those offences and if, as George Kerevan suggests (Opinion, 17 June), that results in the final departure of Ireland from mainland Britain, so be it.

But justice must be done and be seen to be done.
