Letter: Tartan truths

Contrary to your report, "Mandela's tartan weaver rescued by internet customers" (3 May), DC Dalgleish is not the last or only traditional tartan weaver in Scotland.

The firm I work for, Geoffrey (Tailor) Highland Crafts, has been weaving traditional tartans for many years in Edinburgh, and uses traditional machines giving the proper density of weave and also the finished selvedge to the cloth, and also custom weaves tartans specially for our customers.
