Letter: Submarine was different class

HAVING enjoyed reading the supplement Scotland At War in Scotland on Sunday (14 November) I would take the opportunity to point out an error on page 28.

The submarine in the picture is in fact a British 'S' class and not U766. The fact that the casing party have white-topped caps would also suggest that this is a peacetime photograph.

Otherwise an excellent portrayal of wartime Scotland.
