Letter: Quit smearing

The chief of the Confederation of British Industry Scotland, Iain McMillan, warns that the SNP needs to stop smearing those who ask legitimate questions about independence and, hey presto, up pops Joan McAlpine with a smear on the CBI chief and some vacuous assurances that tractor production will be up once the Dear Leader is President of Scotland (Perspective, 29 November).
