Letter: Population fears

Thank goodness someone has had the courage to point out that endless growth is neither possible nor desirable, and that every problem facing the human race is either caused or made worse by human overpopulation (your report, 17 November).

David Attenborourgh and the other members of the Optimum Population Trust are concerned about the future of the human race and calling them "freaks" and "eco-fascists" is not helpful.
