Letter: Nato U-turn

I agree with “Stripy” (Webview, 17 April). Surely everyone has the right to change one’s mind without it being dismissed rudely as a “U-turn”.

Indeed, we should celebrate the fact that people – especially politicians – can have a change of heart for whatever reason. It’s a rare occurrence.
