Letter: Minority Voice

Iain McMillan's article "The case for fiscal independence falls flat" makes depressing reading. As a director of CBI Scotland, I would have expected such a piece to be inspirational and aspirational. Instead, it was full of "can't do" lecturing and rhetoric.

However, what is more disturbing is that, in these columns, Mr McMillan has professed that he speaks for and on behalf of the council of the CBI Scotland – yet his article states: "In my view, the campaign does not …" Mr McMillan's articles should come with a "health warning" of whether he is expounding his opinions or that of the CBI Scotland.
