Letter: Libyan goals

You report (27 May) that the UK is to deploy four Apache attack helicopters in Libya to "reduce the chance of civilian casualties" by the coalition forces. Given the remit, prior to scope creep, was to defend the civilian population, the goal of our interference somehow seems to have become forgotten.
