Letter: Expensive kiss

It should come as no surprise that Edinburgh Airport's "kiss and fly" charge will be £5 for ten minutes (your report, 29 October).

However, what is more worrying is BAA Edinburgh's managing director's statement that he had "no immediate plans" to increase the fees (your report, 2 November). Given BAA's predilection for bi-annual hyper-inflationary parking increases, the use of the words "no immediate" must give cause for concern to BAA's flying "turkeys".
