Letter: Donald Trump’s sea view

I would like to concur with Donald Trump on my frustration about the silence of Scottish Natural Heritage (SNH) regarding the proposed offshore wind farm development off Aberdeenshire.

Like me, I imagine it finds Mr Trump’s recent hot air full of hypocrisy given that he so adamantly put his own selfish interests ahead of those of one of the top five coastal sand-dune features in the UK, and therefore spoiled it.

For him now to decry the potential development of a shallow seabed on what could not be described as one of Scotland’s most scenic sea views (with constant daily views of parked tankers and rig boats) on the grounds of spoiling Scotland’s coastline and heritage, on one hand makes me wish SNH would be much more vocal in pointing out his double standards.

But on the other hand it does make Donald Trump look extremely silly, especially with the unsubstantiated and nonsense critique he has attached to the proposal.
