Letter: Corporate forces
My fellow citizens in Aberdeen are always being told that if we did not embrace the Aberdeen Western Peripheral Route, Donald Trump's housing and golfing complex, and the raising of Union Terrace Gardens to street level, we would be left behind in the dark ages.
In my opinion we are already hurtling towards a new "dark ages" and it is only those people who protest who are stopping us sliding towards an age where the forces of corporate power shall completely take over our lives. The barbarians are not waiting at the gates: they have already breached the walls and have been influencing our lives for quite some time.
I applaud all those protestors who perhaps have the vision to see what is happening and have the guts to stand up and be counted.
