Letter: Colosseum renovation

Words here With regard to Nick Pisa's interesting article on the renovation of the Colosseum (your report, 4 December), while it is certainly the case that Emperor Nero persecuted and killed Christians, he could not have done it at the Colosseum since he had been dead for some years before it was built. In fact, four emperors came between him and the opening.
