Letter: Christmas card

MAUREEN Henry (Letters, 16 December) attacks your coverage of First Minister Alex Salmond’s choice of a painting by SNP supporter Alasdair Gray for his Christmas card.

I am no supporter of the First Minister, but I do applaud his choice of such a fascinating Scottish artist to illustrate the card. when so many other politicians go for twee and egotistical images.
