Letter: Beavers’ damned

YOUR report (16 March) on the environment minister’s announcement that the Tay Beavers can remain, puts a most negative slant on the stunning success for the brilliant campaign to Save the Free Beavers of the Tay. After decades of depressing decline, this could prove to be the turning point for biodiversity in Scotland.
