Lack of balance
Five full pages of coverage, including headlines on the front and back pages, were devoted to the decision of a highly-paid football manager to leave his team – Neil Lennon quitting Celtic (your reports, 23 May).
The life-saving rescue, against all the odds – and after the search was called off – of two fishermen in the North Sea was given coverage of less than half a page on page 11. A sense of perspective is clearly missing here. This is not the level of journalism I expect from this newspaper.
