It is also worth recalling that Orlans was being defended by her Scots allies and French records show that she entered the city to the tune which we now know as Scots Wha Hae and which the French military still use on ceremonial occasions as the March of the Soldiers of Robert Bruce, recalling the tradition that it was our marching tune at Bannockburn in 1314.
