It’s a bad call
Why don’t the Wimbledon tennis umpires treat players of both sexes with equal respect? They call the ladies politely by title and surname (eg “Miss Williams”), but are disrespectful towards the gentlemen by using surname only (eg “Murray”).
The umpires deserve a telling off for their bad manners.
