Iran resistance

As an Iranian, I want to applaud the brilliant article by David Amess MP (Opinion, 16 January) regarding the challenges posed by the Iranian regime. The mullahs have declared war on the Iranian people and if they obtain nuclear weapons, war with the West is virtually assured. I strongly agree with Mr Amess that the solution is for the West to support the Iranian people and their legitimate resistance movement to bring about democratic change.
