Incomplete

Was I the only one who saw the amusing side of the photograph that accompanied Bill Jamieson's article on Edinburgh's trams (Opinion, 11 June) that showed both the unfinished tram lines in Princes Street and, in the distance, William Playfair's unfinished monument on Calton Hill?
