Eye on the prize

Seeing senior Labour figures Alastair Darling, Douglas Alexander etc masterminding and fronting Better Together (or should I say No, thank you) reminds me of The Bridge on the River Kwai.

In that film, Alec Guinness engineered and executed an outstanding feat of bridge building and morale boosting, only at the very last minute to be made to realise that actually what he was doing was handing victory to the enemy, who watched incredulously.

We Scots should realise that, whatever the obstacles and (Danny) Alexanderisms we may have to face with independence, the ultimate prize is that we would rid our beloved Scotland of rule by London Tories.
