Election climate

Last week in Westminster the Tories attacked the Labour government, asking ministers to explain why they failed to deal with the ongoing weather crisis.

At the same time here at Holyrood, Labour, Tories and the Lib Dems attacked the SNP government over exactly the same issue.

The UK is broke. Our soldiers are fighting an unwinnable war in Afghanistan and the best our elected opposition parties can come up with is, how do we fight the weather?

Alex Salmond regularly walks on water and occasionally skates on thin ice, but as far as I am aware, the Almighty has not devolved control over the weather.

Could there by any chance be an election in the offing?
