Discordant note

I’M NOT sure if Alex Salmond was invited to the premiere of The Iron Lady but in light of his reactions to the offer of talks on a referendum it makes me wonder if he remembers when Mrs Thatcher mounted the steps of No 10 and quoted St Francis of Assisi.

His version might read: “Where there is harmony, may we bring discord. Where there is truth, may we bring error. Where there is faith, may we bring doubt. And where there is hope, may we bring despair.”
