Credit to Labour

Wouldn’t be nice to read just one letter from Alexander McKay (Letters, 13 February) that was free of the distortions caused by his obsessive hatred of the SNP?

For one thing, the decision to impose a moratorium while consultation on the ­issues ­surrounding fracking was a ­decision taken by the Scottish Government and backed by a majority of MSPs.

Indeed, we were given to understand from Jim Murphy that the credit for this decision should be handed to the Labour Party.
